Raphaël Anguenot
Vice President – Supply Chain
Raphaël is the Vice President – Supply Chain at innoVactiv Inc., the company behind the Juventide® technology that is at the heart of all L’ÉTOILE COSMÉTIQUES products.
Raphaël holds a Ph.D. in plant biology from Laval University and has been working at innoVactiv for over 15 years. He is passionate about everything that the living world has invented to ensure its subsistence and adapt to its environment. It is not surprising that the marine world and in particular the extraordinary regenerative capacity of starfish has aroused his interest.
Raphael is responsible for harvesting starfish and collecting their precious fluid. It should be noted that starfish harvesting has never been considered a profession. On the contrary, starfish have always been considered a nuisance in the fishing world. So we had to invent everything. Raphael has put a lot of effort to ensure that our intervention is totally respectful of the starfish and its environment. He makes sure that all steps to sustainably develop this resource respect a very rigorous set of specifications.
